If you forgot your password, click on this link and type in your email address. An email will be sent to you with easy to follow steps on how to set up a new password.

You can change your password by following these steps - go to "Profile Page > Settings > Password". You will be asked to enter your old password followed by your new password. Hit the ”Submit Changes” button and your new password will be saved.

If you never received your activation email, please make sure that you are logging in from the correct email address and check your spam / junk folder.

If you would like to change your email address, go to "Profile > Settings > Change Email".

Here is a list of the information required for the sign up process:

• Your email address
• A personalized password
• Your name
• The names of three print magazines that you like

After you complete the sign up form, we will send an email to the address you provided.

The embed code allows users to display a real-time digital magazine on their own websites. Embeding the digital magazine gives a magazine’s community the ability to reach more viewers and enjoy greater exposure.

To use the embed code, copy the code inside the bar and insert it into your website’s HTML code. You can choose to embed the whole magazine or just the cover page (if a user clicks on the cover page version, it will render the magazine in full screen mode).

The blog import featureimports posts from your blog into a magazine. This feature help bloggers easily distribute their content and increase their site’s traffic (this is because each time a blog post is imported, the magazine offers a link back to that person’s blog which improves SEO and click throughs). Voila - your blog posts are available to more people and you increase your site’s traffic in one simple step.

The syndicate feature notifies users when new content is posted inside a magazine. Click on the RSS or ATOM icon which will take you to your preferred RSS or ATOM reader. From here, you can have notices sent to your feed reader when new content is posted inside a magazine.

The social web tab lets users read their real-time digital magazine from inside their social networks. Choose your social network and follow the simple steps to have your digital magazine available to you on your social network page.

A member is someone that is part of a community magazine. They are able to vote, comment and interact with other community members.

A writer is someone that can publish content in a community magazine. They can also vote, comment and interact with other community members.

An administrator is someone that has control over a community magazine. They enjoy the same privileges as writers but also control a magazine's layout, membership, content approval, advertisements, newsletters and much more.

For most magazines, users simply have to sign up and click on the Contribute link at the top right of the website.

However, magazines with higher privacy settings require users to become writers before they can add content. In these cases, users will be asked if they would like to become a writer. A request is then sent to the magazine's administrator who will approve or deny the request.

The magazine cover uses the first photo of the most popular article in the magazine. If a new article (with a photo) is voted up to the top of the magazine, the cover page will re-render its layout using the new photo.

Publishing Power measures a person’s popularity on the site. Activities including inviting friends, publishing content people like, creating popular magazines and posting comments all boost a person’s publishing power.

Author Levels categorize Publishing Power. This makes it easy to find out the popularity of a user. Here is a list of the Author Levels (ordered by least amount of Publishing Power to largest amount of Publishing Power):

Scribe (Stage 1)
    Scribe > Superior Scribe > Supreme Scribe

Author (Stage 2)
    Author > Aspiring Author > Awe-Inspiring Author

Editor (Stage 3)
    Editor > Esteemed Editor > Extreme Editor

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)

• Select: Tools > Internet Options
• Click on the 'Privacy' tab
• Set the slider to 'Medium'
• Press the 'OK' button, you're done!

When using Mozilla Firefox

• Select: Edit > Preferences
• Click the 'Privacy' icon
• Check the 'Accept cookies from sites' checkbox
• Press the 'OK' button, you're done!

• Press the 'Reset all zones to default level' button
